By Train and Ferry

Take a train from Roma Termini to Anzio, Formia, or Terracina. Anzio is about an hour away, Formia and Terracina take around 90 minutes. Walk or grab a taxi to the port. Ferries run regularly. Fast ferries from Anzio take about 1 hour and 40 minutes. From Formia and Terracina, it's 1 to 2.5 hours.

By Car and Ferry

Drive to the ports of Anzio, Formia, or Terracina. From Rome, use the A1 motorway. Exit at Frosinone for Terracina or Cassino for Formia. For Anzio, take Via Pontina SS148. Parking is available at these ports, but it's best to leave your car on the mainland due to limited traffic zones on Ponza in summer.

Getting to Ponza from Naples

By Train and Ferry
