Photo Use Policy
Recipes found on SavoringItaly.com are specifically created for this website. Cooking is my passion and recipes are my art! Each recipe takes countless HOURS and even longer to produce! The process of producing recipes involves testing, ingredients, photography (and equipment), editing software and tons of time. Please respect my guidelines if you would like to share my recipes.
All of the photos that appear on savoringitaly.com are copyrighted, so please contact me if you would like to use one on your site, as explicit permission is required. The one caveat to that is if you are putting together a roundup of recipes on your site and would like to include a recipe from Savoring Italy and use the accompanying photo. In this case, you may do so as long as the photo contains a permalink back to the original recipe on savoringitaly.com.
If you are a BLOGGER and you are creating a round up, I would love to be included! Please feel free to use a photo with a link and once published, let me know so I can share your roundup on Pinterest with my readers! I’m sure you already know this but I kindly ask that you do not include ingredients/directions.
If you would like to SHARE my recipes, I would love that! Note that copying/pasting is not sharing. I do not permit copying and pasting entire recipes on ANY WEBSITE or social media, no exceptions. Please do not crop off my watermark or add text to my photos.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO post a photo on Facebook with a link leading directly to my recipe. Please do not post full ingredients/directions on Facebook including on pages or in groups.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO use the “share” button on any page or found on Savoring Italy Facebook page to share a link to any recipe. DO NOT copy and paste the ingredients and directions list onto the shared post.
If you recreate one of my recipes and would like to share it on your blog… you are welcome to do so! Please:
•Create your own photograph
•You are welcome to use my list of ingredients exactly as they are written
•Please rewrite directions in your own words… your blog is about you… your readers want to hear you, not me! Write them in your own words.
•Remember to include a link back to the original recipe or Google can view it as duplicate content!
Taking my recipes and reproducing or copying and pasting them on Facebook or your blog violates Facebook terms and copyright laws. Please do not take my recipes without permission.
