Not the typical pizza combo I would normally order. But this was something we enjoyed in Lago di Pusiano a few weeks ago. Smoked salmon, delicate ricotta, zucchini and a burst of lemon flavor. ☀️🍋

⁣A summer salad that is full of sweet watermelon 🍉, fresh mint, cilantro and basil🍃 (omit the cilantro if you’re not a fan). Asian watermelon salad is tossed in an easy lime dressing and so easy to make with a pop of flavor from the jalapeño. After all the cheese we had in Italy, I’m ready for fresh recipes like this one! ⠀

We spent the afternoon on Lake Como and it was the day after very big storms. I’ve never seen the Lake flooded. There were people having their aperitivo sitting in the water. There were kids riding their bikes and other kids wading through the water having gelato. And then there was this beautiful mom dressed in bright pink walking by us with her little boy splashing behind her.💙

Italian strawberries🍓. My mother-in-law barters with her fruit and veggie guy every time he comes by. She was so proud of herself for paying 5 euro for 2 kilos. I think we pay $5 for one pint! It’s quite a deal🍓🍓
