April is a very nice month to visit. The weather is for the most part very pleasant, except for an occasional shower. There are long days to enjoy and there is the scent of lemon trees and orange blossoms in the air. With an average of 8 hours of sunshine per day, you have plenty of time to explore all of the beauty outdoors. And as each week passes, the days get longer! I would recommend an April visit to Sorrento!
Spring hits Sorrento hard from late March to mid-June. The weather's good. Citrus trees bloom. The air smells like orange blossoms and lemons. It's a great time to explore. But, it's also crowded. Tours and school trips pack the place. Still, it's perfect for day trips and getting outside.
Summer in Sorrento? It's from mid-June to mid-September. Think non-stop sun, warm sea, and live nights. Temperatures hit 31°C (88°F). Prime time for the beach. But, it's tourist season. Prices spike. Places get packed, especially in July and August. Still, the days are long. Perfect for exploring and digging into the local eats after dark.
Autumn rolls into Sorrento from mid-September to Christmas. It's less crowded. Weather's mild. The scene? Golden and red leaves everywhere. Perfect for a quiet trip. The food scene shines, loaded with seafood, olive oil, and lemons. Tourism still buzzes until October's end. Temperatures stay comfy. The vibe? Cozy and inviting.
