Why does pastina make me feel better? 1. Comfort and Nostalgia: Pastina is frequently associated with comforting memories, often served by caregivers when you were unwell as a child. This association can evoke feelings of being cared for and safe, providing emotional comfort. 2. Ease of Digestion: Due to its small size and soft texture when cooked, pastina is very gentle on the stomach. This makes it an ideal choice when you're sick or have a delicate stomach, as it's easy to digest. 3. Warmth: Consuming warm foods like pastina can soothe the throat and warm the body, providing a comforting sensation that can help you relax and feel better.

Any tiny pasta could be used in place of the actual pastina (AKA stelline tiny star pasta). You can use acini di peppe, alphabet pasta (the kids love that!), orzo or the anellini.
WHAT TYPES OF PASTA CAN I SUBSTITUTE THE PASTINA WITH?
