– 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup whole wheat flour you could use all white AP flour if you prefer – 1 1/2 cups vegan white sugar – 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1 teaspoon sea salt – 2 tsp matcha green tea powder – 1/2 cup orange juice – 3/4 cup coconut milk – 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar – 1 cup vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips – matcha green tea powder to dust on top

They are delicious and they are happy brownies. They are gooey and fudgy. And they are so moist and decadent. You don’t even miss the dairy products! Even if you’re not vegan, you could try this recipe and you will be surprised at how rich they are! With a touch of matcha in the batter and a dusting on top, you get some of the antioxidant benefits of matcha green tea powder.

1. Make sure to use a high-quality vegan matcha powder. Some powders are more bitter than others, so you'll want to find one that has a nice flavor. 2. Use a good quality cocoa powder. This will help to give the brownies a rich chocolate flavor. 3. Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in tough brownies. 4. Bake the brownies until they're just set, and don't overbake them or they'll be dry and crumbly.
